Washington, D. C.

Hey everybody! Right now, we are in Washington, D. C. Its really big. Most of the streets don't have actual names, just names like L Street or 10th Street. Its really confusing, and there's a lot of roadwork going on. There are lots of confusing signs, but it's very easy to cross streets. Do you know how at some intersections in Punxsutawney and other places there are signs that tell pedestrians when to cross the street? Well here, they have those signs on almost every corner! It is very easy to tell when you can cross the street. We are staying at the Morrison Clark hotel. To get to our room, though, we have to ride the elevator up three floors, go outside on a balcony, and then we enter our room. Today, for lunch, we ate at subway, and at dinner we ate at Pizza Autentica. We are here because my mother is here for NECC, a conference for teachers. Well, that's all for now!
