What's the Buzz about Google Buzz?

As you probably know, there is a new feature in gmail, Google Buzz. Also, you may know that I love Google, a company of about 20,000 people. So, Google Buzz obviously has no age limitations. I am writing this post as I watch the Live Google Event from yesterday, which aired without my knowledge, when I was braving the elements, but that's another post. :) Anyway, one of the good features of Google Buzz is that you don't have to go searching to add all of your friends. Anyone you email or chat with is already added to the people you're following. You can also connect Google Buzz to your Twitter account. Now, I may have started off getting a bit too advanced. For those of you who have not heard of Google Buzz, It is on quote, "Google's approach to sharing." It will be rolled out to the public over the course of this week. When you go into your Gmail Inbox, On the left side, there is your navigation bar. It says inbox, trash, sent, etc., but not necessarily in that order. When you click the links, it takes you to that folder. Beginning sometime this week, you may notice a Buzz link under Inbox. That is where you go to start accessing your Google Buzz. So, in the Google Event, they categorize Google Buzz's main features into five features. First, as I already mentioned, it features auto-following. Next, it offers a rich, fast sharing experience. So, since you already know how to navigate Gmail effectively, they leave Google Buzz within Gmail so that you can also navigate it effectively. They also paid close attention to media. You can share links, photos, tweets, videos, etc., all within Google Buzz. Also, along with the fast part of the experience, Google Buzz is in realtime. You don't have to wait for that message to send, like in emails and SMS messages. You can automatically see Aunt Suzy's message as she's typing it in. Third, Google Buzz supports both public and private sharing. You can share your thoughts with the whole world, or just a small group of friends. You have the ability to choose quickly for each and every share. Fourth, is Inbox Integration. You can add an @reply to any share (or buzz) to anyone and that Buzz will show up in their Gmail Inbox. Last, but not least, is the good stuff. You get almost everything from your other most important social networks, like twitter, google reader, and facebook, in one tab. Another thing I want to talk about is the links. When you post a link, Google Buzz automatically finds headlines and photos from that webpage. Way cool! Updates Updates!!

I have almost no time to post, but I just found a blank spot and decided to post! SO, well, I really don't have anything to post about, except that I don't get to go trick or treating tonight. Not that I really have a costume, but I could just put on a witch hat and a black t-shirt and be a witch. I also have no idea what to wear tomorrow. I'm thinking about wearing a grey long sleeved v-neck with a white tank top underneath, but I don't know which pair of jeans of mine to wear. I think I might only have one pair clean at the moment, though, which makes that decision much easier. NEXT, I got my leaf project left, and I did pretty well. I got a 45/46. Next, since I went to an academic challenge in Brookville on Tuesday, I had to do two days worth of math homework Wednesday night. Fun, fun, fun, as always! I also need to make sure my accelerated reader is taken by Friday or risk having to write a book report, which is much more work than answering ten questions on the computer. I might have taken my test already, but actually, I don't fully remember, so I at leeast need to get on and check, if not take a test. AFTER THAT, I am reading this really good book called Here Today by Ann M. Martin. It is about a girl named Eleanor Roosevelt Dingman, or Ellie for short, and her family. Her mother is named Doris Day Dingman, which it was changed to from her birth name, which was Darlene. Her brother's name is Albert Einstein, but everyone just calls him Albert, and her sister's name is Marie Curie, or Marie for short. Anyway, it is a good book, and I reccomend it. I also recently read an amazing book entitled Canned. I do not recall the author but they wrote a great book, and I compliment them highly. Lately, I have been watching Cake Boss on TLC. Have you ever watched Cake Boss? If not, you really should see an episode. It is quite a good show. It is about Carlo's Bakery in New Jersey. An Italian family runs it and they make some great pastries and cakes. Anyway, I would keep babbling on, but I should probably go, so see you next time!!

OMG COLD

Oh my goodness! It is becoming dreadfully cold in the mornings when I am obligated to stand at the bus stop for 10 - 15 minutes. I really hate the cold! Wish me luck tomorrow morning!
